There is almost nothing left online about these effects.
They came bundled with Opcode Vision DSP 4.5, one of the company’s final sequencer releases. Gibson acquired Opcode in 1998, and development ended in 1999.
Opcode opPLUGS — Windows Rebuilds
Twelve effects originally developed by Opcode Systems for classic Macintosh VST hosts, documented in 1998 and bundled with Vision DSP, including version 4.5. Engineering was credited to Harvey Thornburg and Dan Timis, with additional engineering by John S. Cooper. These Windows rebuilds retain the straightforward slider-based presentation of the originals.
opALIGN: Sample delay for aligning tracks.
opBOXDLY: Dual modulated delay with tape-style regeneration.
opCHORUS: Chorus, vibrato, slapback and comb-filter effects.
opCOMP: Compressor with an independent noise gate.
opCYCLE: Tempo-based, eight-tap rhythmic delay.
opECHO: Simple tempo-based echo with filtering and feedback.
opFLANGE: Modulated delay for sweeping flanger effects.
opPANNER: Rhythmic stereo auto-panning with gate triggering.
opPLATE: Plate-style reverb with filtering and modulation.
opREZN8: Resonant phasing and vocal-like formant filtering.
opRING: Ring and amplitude modulation, from tremolo to metallic textures.
opSQUASH: Compressor/gate designed for aggressive dynamics and bass-heavy sounds.
