Fracture Sounds Blueprint Alt Woodwind Ensemble (Extended Woodwinds) Kontakt [FREE]
Free | Kontakt Library | 2.33 GB
Four instruments, rarely heard but incredibly inspiring.
A collection of airy and breathy sounds from Alternative Woodwind Soloists, combined into an ensemble patch.
About the Instrument
With Alternative Woodwind Soloists, we sought out instruments rarely found in larger orchestral libraries, chosen for their airy, breathy character. This easy-to-use ensemble library brings those sounds together in one place, with all mic positions and both short and sustained articulations.
Featuring alto flute, bass flute, bass clarinet, and tenor recorder, the ensemble is remarkably versatile. Its instruments carry traditions stretching from the Baroque to the modern Romantic, and they’re ripe for experimentation, whether you’re writing something classic or shaping entirely new sounds.
The Interface
Dynamics – Control the dynamic layers via the mod wheel/ CC1.
Colour – EQ effect to change the brightness of the overall. sound.
Stereo Width – Controls the stereo widening effect, turn clockwise to widen the signal, turn fully anticlockwise for a mono signal.
Reverb – Control the level of reverb with further settings if you click on the cog.
Mic Mix – Control the amount of close, mid and far mics. Mute [M], Solo [S], and Purge [⏻] the raw layer and individual Atmosphere Layers from memory. Blend between a close and far mix.
Sample Start –Increase the sample start time to reduce latency. Decrease the sample start time for more realism. The latency above is the correct number for the use of negative delay (pre-delay) in your DAW MIDI settings.
Dynamic Response – Control how much the volume of the instrument is affected by the dynamics modulation.
NKS support and Kontakt player compatibility
Blueprint: Alt Woodwind Ensemble offers full NKS support, giving you seamless integration with Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol keyboards. Enjoy intuitive, hands-on control via the built-in display and parameter knobs, making the instrument both highly playable and fully accessible for blind and visually impaired musicians.
The library also runs in the free Kontakt Player, activated through Native Access — no extra purchases required. Simply download Kontakt Player from the Native Instruments website to get started.
